Chairperson
Dr Caroline Bingham is a local woman. Her Special interest is in deprived working class communities and unemployment. She has 25 years experience in Community Development Work and Youth Initiatives. She has membership of Training Women's Network, Chartered Institute of Personal Development and Alumni of Queens & University of Ulster. She has graduated from both Queens and University of Ulster. She holds the following qualifications: Ph.D., Adv.Dip.O.C.G, and Dip.Soc.St. (Hons), Dip.T. Mgt, Dip.C.W, Cert.C.W, Cert.C.St, Cert.C.Ed.Dev, Cert.S.W.St.
Trevor Aitkenhead B.A.P.G.C.E.
Advisor
Trevor has been the advisor of the Amber Community Development Agency for 15 years. He was a Maths teacher at Fort Hill College in Lisburn where he is now the Administrator. Also he is the financial circuit stewart.
Eileen Donaghy
Secretary
Eileen has been with the Amber Community Development Agency since its inception in 1996. She was an auxilary nurse at the local hospital. She is a local mum and secretary of the Amber Community Development Agency charity.
Mandy Dixon
Treasurer
Mandy is local mum, who attained her NVQ in Administration at BIFHE. She has 15 years experience in finance and has attained RSA Level III (Advanced) in Word Processing. She is the Treasurer of the Amber Community Development Agency charity.
Joan Bingham
Long Term Volunteer
Joan has gained an NVQ Level 2 in Administration and the Diploma In Information Technology. She has been with the Amber Community Development Agency for 16 years. Joan works voluntary in Amber House and is currently participating on a Steps to Success traing programme in conjuction with Ingeus Capital House Belfast.
George Blair
Member of the Management Committee
George lives with his wife and family in the Empire Drive area of the Roden Street Interface. He is a keen golfer and an ardent Linfield supporter.
Emily Telford
One of the Founding Members
Emily was also a founding member and former treasurer. She lives in the Tates Avenue area of the village. Her interests are art/craft and gardening. She is a pensioner and has done much volunteering with the young persons.
Helen Clarke
One of the Founding Members
Helen grew up in the area. She joined Amber House in 1998 as a Christian Counsellor was later elected onto the Management Committee and became chairperson in due course. Helen has obtained Certificates and Diploma in specified areas of counselling work.
